What I know to be true about money is ….. it’s never just about the money!

We would all love more of it, yes. But why?
Because we crave a sense of freedom, joy and abundance. We want to live a big, full, limitless life that feels like our favourite kind of party. We want to eat what we want to eat. We want to go where we want to go. We want to dance to the biggest and best party tunes when the mood strikes or sit in a quiet reverie around the fire with a cup of tea, our journal and a thousand twinkling stars above our heads when our souls feel called to do that.

We want the freedom to choose how we spend our time and who we spend it with. We want limitless resources to fund the adventures that call us into the brightest and most sparkly versions of ourselves.

We want to be able to slide a cool couple of hundred dollars to causes that make our hearts swell when we see our fellow humans suffering. And we want to be able to do it whenever we feel like it and on repeat.

We want to buy beautiful things that lift our hearts and inspire us into living the created life of our dreams. We want to buy ethical, local, small biz, sustainable and not let price be the thing that stands between us and the kind of world we’re here to birth into being.

We want to step off the well-trodden road of hard work and sacrifice and instead meander through meadows of slowness, presence, meaning, connection and joy so that we can soak up this one wild and precious life of ours and not sleep walk through it. And we want to be so well resourced that we have the spaciousness to do it.

We want to follow our spark of inspiration wherever it leads us – to the courses that we want to do, the books that we want to read, the retreat that we want to go on, the art that we want to buy, the corners of the globe that we want to explore – and feel good knowing that we have the money and the self-permission to spend it on these glorious things.

In short, we want more money so that we don’t have to think about money.
